The Safety Lockout Valve
is a Hand Operated 3 Way
Valve. The 3 ports
are:
Air InletAir
OutletAir Exhaust,
Which Vents to the
AtmosphereUnlike
Ball Valves, Which Can Only
Be in the Open or Closed
Position and Do Not Have a
Way to Vent the System
Pressure, the Safety Lockout
Has an Exhaust Port Which
Vents to Atmosphere.
Before Performing
Routine Maintenance the
Safety Lockout Valve Can Be
Turned to the ?EXH? Position
Which Will Block the Air
Supply to the FRL and Relieve
All Downstream Pressure. The
Safety Lockout Valve Also Has
Provisions for a Pad Lock
Which Will Prevent Against
Accidental Actuation During
Maintenance Procedure.
Modular Construction
Allows the Safety Lockout
Valve to Be Connection With
Any Air Control Units Using a
Spacer. Lockout Valves are
Threaded On Both Ends.
